Eventually, you and Eva choose your horses. She picks a dusty brown palomino with three white stockings and a white muzzle. You, deciding on one that looks the least like the one that broke your arm, find a beautiful dark gray Appaloosa with white flecks and a white star on her forehead. Eva's is named Sergeant, and yours is Prudence.

"HELP!" Ringo cries to you, his legs flailing and fully suspended in the air. His wide blue eyes are overflowing with panic. The two men carrying him stroll on, ignoring Ringo's high-strung yells. One eventually lifts Ringo and slings him over his muscular sleeveless shoulder. The other trails behind a bit and starts to pull out some rope from his sagging back pocket. Just centimeters from lip locking with George Harrison, the bus driver shoves on the brakes and announces that you have arrived in Anaheim, California.

What a party-pooper!

You get up from George's lap and stare out the window, expecting to see big buildings, cars whirring and horns honking. Instead, you see a ranch-like grouping of rundown old buildings in the distance, with a lazy dust trail leading to it. A wooden sign next to the bus says, in chipping red paint, "The Fool's Gold; Ranch and Concert Hall." You groan.

So Eva's just walked in on John snogging you to bits. Is she mad? Will she understand that John started it? Or is your friendship in jeopardy?

Eva's just standing there, her mouth wide open and her eyes gaping. John releases your hands and steps from you, coughing. You can't move, and neither can Eva, it seems. She won't move.

Millions on scenarios flash through your mind. Will she attack you in rage? Will she burst into tears and flee helplessly back out the double doors? Will she ask what you were doing? Or will she forget this whole ordeal as if it never happened, disregarding it with a flick of her hand?

Steve Jobs, you changed the world in countless wonderful ways. The technology you helped bring forth will continue to help the rest of humanity, even though you have left our world. I never met you or spoke with you personally, but as someone who aspires to be an engineer someday, you inspired me to dream big, and give my all. You may have passed on from this life, but you won your battle in the end, and went out with honor, dignity and satisfaction.

You are dead, but you are far from gone. Even when my generation is passed from this world, our descendants will remember you not only as the genius who created some of the most mindblowing technology the world has ever seen--but also as the courageous, geniune, truly GOOD man whose greatest desire was to improve the world he lived in.

RIP Steve Jobs. We will remember.
